CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 13-026 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING INSTALLATION OF A TELECOMMUNICATIONS FACILITY <br />ON THE CITY'S WATER TANK LOCATED AT 3109 - 33RD AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, Verizon Wireless (VAW) LLC, d/b/a Verizon Wireless desires to install a high <br />speed wireless internet facility on the City's Water Tank located at 3109 - 33rd <br />Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, the installation of a telecommunications facility on the City's water tank will <br />provide a source of income for the City of St. Anthony; and <br />WHEREAS, the mutually agreed upon lease terms for the water tank located at 3109 - 33rd <br />Avenue, St. Anthony, MN 55418 are as follows: <br />Rent: $24,000 annually and $5,000 one-time payment <br />Annual rent Escalator: Three (3) percent increase <br />Legal: $6,000 escrow for legal/engineering <br />Termination Notice: Six (6) month notice <br />WHEREAS, the mutually agreed Verizon Wireless equipment to be installed are as follows: <br />Nine (9) antennas installed on the water tank; <br />WHEREAS, the telecommunications facility must be installed before December 31, 2013 or the <br />agreement is terminated. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of St. Anthony Village hereby approves <br />installation of a high speed wireless internet facility at the site of the City's water tank located at <br />3109 - 33rd Avenue, St. Anthony, MN 55418, under the conditions and lease terms as stated above, <br />which were mutually agreed upon by the City of St. Anthony and Verizon Wireless (VAW) LLC, <br />d/b/a Verizon Wireless. <br />Adopted this 12th day of February, 2013. <br />Randy S' e, or ro Tem <br />ATTEST: <br />Barbara Suciti,4ity Clerk <br />Review for Administration: 2 0a (, / <br />Nfark Casey, City Nfanager <br />FACouncil Meetings@013\02122013\res verizon water tower.doc <br />
