He said he <br />2 was very aware of the delinquent water bill the previous business had <br />3 left which he said would be taken care of within the next few days. <br />4 The restaurant owner indicated he would be running a "meat and potato <br />5 type" restaurant with mostly American style, but some oriental, food <br />6 served and wanted sometime in the future to add beer and wine to the <br />7 menu to meet what he perceived to be Twin City diners' preferences in <br />8 restaurants. <br />9 Councilmember Ranallo indicated the Councilmembers' willingness to do <br />10 everything they could to make this a successful enterprise for both Mr. <br />11 Kotula and the City. <br />12 Mr. Kotula told Councilmember Makowske he had served as Chairman of the <br />13 St. Louis County Historical Society in Hibbing and would be more than <br />14 happy to continue his interests in Minnesota's history through St. <br />15 Anthony's Historical Committee. <br />16 NEW BUSINESS <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 Ms. VanderHeyden indicated Councilmember Makowske had suggested the <br />) resume of the above resident, submitted when he had sought appointment <br />z1 to the Planning Commission, and certainly qualifying him for Council <br />22 appointment, be considered. Councilmember Makowske recalled that when the <br />25 Council were interviewing the candidates for the Commission, Mr. Shea <br />26 had been one "who all the Councilmembers thought highly of." <br />27 Council Action <br />28 Motion by Ranallo, seconded by Marks to appoint Jeff Shea, 3121 Edward <br />29 Street N.E. to serve as St. Anthony's representative on the Urban <br />30 Hennepin County Citizens Advisory Committee. <br />31 Motion carried unanimously. <br />32 Separate Fund Established for City Community Center Operation <br />33 Motion by Ranallo, seconded by Marks to adopt Resolution 88-043. <br />34 <br />RESOLUTION 88-043 <br />35 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A FUND FOR <br />36 COMMUNITY CENTER <br />Motion carried unanimously_. <br />
