ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 14-057 <br />A RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND <br />ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />FOR THE 2015 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted June 10, 2014, a report was <br />prepared by WSB & Associates, Inc. with reference to the improvement of <br />Street & Utility Reconstruction <br />■ 36th Avenue NE from Silver Lake Road to Highhcrest Road <br />■ Chelmsford Road from 361h Avenue NE to 37` Avenue NE <br />Bituminous Mill & Overlay <br />■ St. Anthony Boulevard from Ridgeway Parkway to the bridge crossing the <br />Minneapolis Diagonal Trail <br />Alleyway Surface and Drainage Improvements <br />■ Select alleys throughout the city <br />WHEREAS, the Feasibility Report recommends the following street and utility improvements <br />in 2015: <br />Street & Utility Reconstruction <br />• 36th Avenue NE from Silver Lake Road to Higherest Road <br />• Chelmsford Road from 36`h Avenue NE to 37th Avenue NE <br />Bituminous Mill & Overlay <br />• St. Anthony Boulevard from approximately 670' SE of New Brighton Boulevard <br />to approximately 50' N of Ridgeway Parkway (Approximately 910' in total <br />length). <br />Alleyway Surface and Drainage Improvements <br />• "T" Alley between Coolidge Street and Silver Lake Road, South of 29`h Avenue. <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br />Village that: <br />1) The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report <br />at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $2,646,203. <br />2) WSB & Associates, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. They <br />shall prepare plans for making such improvement. <br />
