ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 14-075 <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />►�. oxi7-171`►[e7:� ii Ti IlIY7ul�1 Y �Ci7:i :11119 <br />FOR THE 2015 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the engineering firm of WSB & Associates, Inc. has prepared plans and <br />specifications for the improvement of: <br />Street & Utility Reconstruction <br />■ 36th Avenue NE from Silver Lake Road to Hi crest Road <br />• Chelmsford Road from 36t' Avenue NE to 37 Avenue NE <br />Bituminous Mill & Overlay <br />■ St. Anthony Boulevard from Ridgeway Parkway to the bridge crossing the <br />Minneapolis Diagonal Trail <br />Alleyway Surface and Drainage Improvements <br />• Alleyway bound by Silver Lake Road (east), 29`" Avenue NE (north), Coolidge <br />Street (west), and St. Anthony Boulevard (south) <br />Backyard Drainage Improvements <br />• Backyard area of homes located between Belden Drive, 34th Avenue NE, and <br />Edward Street <br />LED Pedestrian Crossing Improvements <br />■ Intersection of Kenzie Terrace and 27t' Avenue NE <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br />Village that: <br />1.) Such improvements are necessary, cost-effective, and feasible. <br />2.) Such plans and specifications are hereby approved. <br />3.) The consulting engineering firm shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and <br />in the Finance and Commerce, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such <br />improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be <br />published for two rimes, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened <br />on or about January 7, 2015, and bids will be considered by the City Council. Any bidder <br />whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity <br />to address the Council on the issue of responsibility.
