CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 15-027 <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID <br />FOR THE 2015 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan for the <br />above -referenced project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Contractor Total Bid <br />1 Latour Construction, Inc. $2,299,956.95 <br />R.L. Larson Excavating, Inc. $2,300,303.70 <br />Park Construction Company $2,385,085.30 <br />Northdale Construction Co., Inc. $2,639,542.36 <br />Geislinger and Sons, Inc. $2,723,184.35 <br />Northwest Asphalt, Inc. $2,768,171.57 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Latour Construction, Inc. of Maple Lake, MN is the lowest responsible <br />bidder, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that: <br />1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with Latour Construction, Inc. in the amount of $2,299,956.95 in the name of the City of <br />St. Anthony Village, Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the above -referenced <br />project according to the plans and specifications, therefore, approved by the City <br />Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The Engineer, W SB & Associates, Inc., is hereby authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the <br />successful bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has <br />been signed. <br />Adopted this j---- day of /t/`�r(/� ` 2015. <br />Jerome O.
