UM <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br />Meeting Date: February 24, 2015 <br />Resolution 15-021; a resolution appointing Bonnie Brever to Fill a Vacancy on the Saint Anthony <br />City Council <br />OVERVIEW: <br />On January 1, 2015, Councilmember Roth submitted his resignation from the Saint Anthony City <br />Council, which the City Council accepted at their January 13, 2015 meeting. (Resolution 15-013) At <br />that time, the City Council opted to fill the vacancy by appointment. A "Notice of Vacancy' was <br />published in the St. Anthony Bulletin on January 21 & 28, 2015 along with a posting on the City's <br />website. <br />The City Council received 10 applications for the City Council position and after a thorough interview <br />process with the Mayor and City Council, Bonnie Brever was chosen to fill the vacancy until the next <br />City Election which will be held on November 3, 2015. This resolution appoints Bonnie to the City <br />Council. Following the approval of Resolution 15-021, she will be sworn in as Councilmember Bonnie <br />Brever. <br />
