APPROVAL OF THE JANUARY 13, 2015, CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City <br />Council Meeting Agenda of January 13, 2015. <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br />II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />A. Donation to the St. Anthony Village Fire Department from Mr. Roy Qua . <br />Fire Chief Sitarz introduced Mr. Roy Quady. <br />Mr. Roy Quady, 2713 33rd Avenue NE, stated he was delighted to have been able to present a <br />$10,000 donation to the Police Department in May 2014 from the Mlinar sisters and tonight he <br />would be making a matching donation to the Fire Department. He provided a brief history of his <br />mother and her two sisters who lived in St. Anthony for a combined total of 90 years. He stated <br />the Mlinar sisters loved St. Anthony and appreciated the valiant firefighters and police officers <br />and he was making the donation on behalf of his mother and her two sisters, adding it was his <br />hope that St. Anthony residents would consider making a generous donation to the City. <br />Fire Chief Sitarz thanked Mr. Quady and his family for their generous donation. <br />Mayor Faust expressed the City Council's thanks and appreciation to Mr. Quady for their <br />donation and stated he was hopeful this donation spurs other residents to think about their <br />benevolence toward the public employees who serve, especially those who come to us in times <br />of need and answer the call for help. <br />1 <br />
