CITY OF S T. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 14-057 <br />A RESOLUTION SETTING THE P ROPOSED 2015 TAX LEVY AND GENERAL OPE RATING <br />BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota State Law requires that the City of St. Anthony Village provide Hennepin and <br />Ramsey Counties with a proposed 2015 certified property tax levy and operating budget; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council discusse d key financial issues and budgeting goals at the August 4, 2014, <br />work s essions and a public mee ting was h e ld on April 22, 2014 for input on the budget <br />process; and <br />WHEREAS, the allowed Road Improvement Levy will be reduced by $147,500; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council further r eviewed the proposed 2015 property tax levy and general <br />operation budget at the August 26, 2014 , City Council meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed tax levy and budget is contingent upon any revisions allowed if the current <br />law is modified; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council will determine a definitive property tax levy and budget at the <br />Tuesday, December 9, 2014, budget mee ting held at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br />1) The proposed collectible 2015 Property Tax Levy is: <br />General Operating Levy <br />Capital Improvement Project Levy <br />Road Improvement Levy <br />Lease Revenue Bonds <br />Housing and Redevelopme nt Authority Levy <br />Tax Abatement Levy <br />2) The proposed 2015 General Operating Budget totals $6,705,729. <br />Adopted this 9th day of September, 2014. <br />Jerom e 0.
