ANTHONY <br />2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 SEPTEMBER 23, 2014 <br />4 <br />5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 <br />7 Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />8 <br />9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />10 <br />11 Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />13 ROLL CALL. <br />14 <br />15 Present: Mayor Faust; Councilmembers Gray, Jenson, and Roth. <br />16 Absent: Councilmember Stille. <br />17 Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey, Fire Captain Chris Fuller, and Firefighter Mattie Jaros. <br />18 <br />19 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />20 ITEMS. <br />21 <br />22 I. APPROVAL OF SEPTEMBER 23, 2014, CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />23 <br />24 Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City <br />25 Council Meeting Agenda of September 23, 2014. <br />26 <br />27 Motion carried 4-0. <br />28 <br />29 11. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />30 <br />31 Councilmember Roth recited the proclamation designating Friday, September 26, 2014, as St. <br />32 Anthony Kiwanis Peanut Day. <br />33 <br />34 Mayor Faust introduced Kiwanis Club of St. Anthony Village President Rick Dunn and <br />35 President-elect Tom Miller. <br />36 <br />37 Mr. Miller thanked the City for its support of Kiwanis and stated that the Kiwanis Peanut Day is <br />38 their #1 source of fundraising and enables them to sponsor K -Kids Club at Wilshire Park, <br />39 Builders Club at the middle school, and the Key Club at the high school, as well as the AKTION <br />40 Club for adults with disabilities. He stated this is the 43`d year of their fundraising drive in St. <br />41 Anthony and he thanked the community for its support of Kiwanis Peanut Day. <br />42 <br />43 Mayor Faust thanked the Kiwanis Club for its ongoing support in the community and wished <br />44 them the best on Friday. <br />45 <br />46 III.
