EN <br />11.8 Contamination of HMRV. A Party using the HMRV with resulting <br />contamination to the vehicle and/or its equipment, producing a possible personal hazard <br />to unprotected persons, is responsible for decontaminating the vehicle and/or equipment <br />so that no personal hazard exists. Decontamination expenses shall be borne solely by the <br />Party that used the vehicle causing the contamination condition. <br />11.9 Cost of Consumable or Expended Supplies. All items of supply, <br />equipment, or protective gear on the vehicle that were consumed, expended or rendered <br />unfit for further use, at an incident or other activity by a Party shall be promptly replaced <br />by that using Party at its sole expense. <br />11.10 Personnel Training. Each Party shall be responsible for the training of its <br />own personnel in the proper use, storage and maintenance of the equipment and <br />protective gear in the HMRV. To assure a reasonable standard of care and proper usage <br />of the equipment, each party shall designate a training officer for this purpose. They shall <br />be responsible for developing guidelines acceptable to all Parties governing proper use of <br />equipment, storage of equipment in the vehicle, and necessary equipment maintenance. <br />11.11 Non -Exclusive HMRV Use. It is understood that each Party is obliged to <br />respond to fire service emergencies outside its own corporate service boundaries, and <br />such activities may necessitate use of the HMRV. The Parties understand that the vehicle <br />may not be available when needed within their own respective primary response districts <br />due to the vehicle's prior commitment. However, in such situations, the party using the <br />HMRV will use its best effort to make the vehicle available, if possible, to the Party <br />needing it on an emergency basis. <br />
