NONMAJOR CAPITAL PROJECT FUNDS <br />The City's Capital Project Funds account for financial resources to be used for the <br />acquisition or construction of major capital facilities (other than those financed by <br />Proprietary Funds). The City of St. Anthony, Minnesota had the following <br />Capital Project Funds during the year: <br />Revolving Improvement Fund was established to provide funding for smaller <br />improvement projects. <br />Park Improvement Fund accounts for the revenues and expenditures associated <br />with the renovations and refurbishing of the City's park system. <br />Silver Lake Village Park Fund was established to account for the construction and <br />improvements to the City's park located in Silver Lake Village. The Park is <br />named "Salo Park" which is in honor of St. Anthony's sister city (Salo, Finland). <br />Capital Equipment Fund is used by all City Departments and accounts for the <br />annual purchases of capital equipment. <br />Building Improvement Fund was established to provide funding for existing City <br />owned building improvements and renovations. <br />Storm Water Improvement Fund was established to account for the construction <br />costs associated with the 100 -Year Flood Protection Project and related flooding <br />issues. <br />2013 Street Improvement Project Fund accounts for the construction costs <br />associated with the reconstruction of Edward Street between 35th and 36th <br />Avenues along with 36th Avenue between Roosevelt Street and Silver Lake <br />Road. <br />
