CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 15 -040 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AGREEMENT WITH RAMSEY COUNTY FOR <br />ELECTION SERVICES 2015 -2016 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Saint Anthony Village previously provided election services for the city and <br />the school district; and <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County Elections Office specializes in providing election services to multiple <br />other cities and school districts; and <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County Elections Office will provide services, equipment, and supplies required <br />to perform election related duties; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Saint Anthony Village will perform the following election related duties: <br />• Conduct official canvass of election results following each City election. <br />• Provide absentee voting services on behalf of the County for voters who choose to cast <br />an absentee ballot in person at the City offices during a time period designated by the <br />County in consultation with the City. <br />• Provide the title and text of City questions to be placed on the ballot. <br />• Accept affidavits of candidacy and filing fees from candidates for City and School <br />District offices. <br />• Provide final approval for polling place locations. <br />• Designate a person who will be the principal contact for the City and School District. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Saint Anthony Village and the Saint Anthony -New Brighton School District <br />enters into an agreement with Ramsey County for election services beginning July 27, <br />2015 through December 31, 2016. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Saint Anthony Village <br />hereby approves the agreement for election services with Ramsey County. <br />Adopted this 9th day of June, 2015 <br />Jerome O.
