CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 15 -050 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO <br />RESIDENTIAL RECYCLING GRANT AGREEMENT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 115A.552, Counties shall ensure that <br />residents have an opportunity to recycle; and <br />WHEREAS, Hennepin County Ordinance 13 requires that each city implement and maintain a <br />recycling program; and <br />WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Board adopted a resolution to amend the Hennepin County <br />Residential Recycling Funding Policy to incorporate requirements to expend additional SCORE <br />funds on organics recycling, and extend the contract period of the Residential Recycling Funding <br />Policy from December 31, 2015 to December 31, 2016; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to receive grant funds, the City must sign the agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to receive these grant funds each year. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony, <br />Minnesota, that the City Council accepts the agreement as proposed. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council authorizes the Mayor, City Manager or <br />his designee to execute such Residential Recycling Grant Agreement with the County. <br />Adopted this 11 th day of August, 2015. <br />.t'erome O.
