REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br />Meeting Date: April 28, 2015 <br />Mississippi Watershed Management Organization (MWMO) Shared Services Agreement Amendment <br />OVERVIEW: <br />In front of you this evening is an updated shared services agreement with the Mississippi Watershed <br />Management Organization (MWMO). <br />The City of St. Anthony engaged the original agreement with the MWMO in the summer of 2012 for <br />financial services. That financial services scope was expanded in 2014 and amended at that time. Late <br />in 2014 the City of St. Anthony and the MWMO agreed to share a Human Resources position <br />between the two organizations, and the implementation date agreed upon was March 1, 201 5. <br />As a result, small changes were made to the agreement to include the Human Resources scope into <br />the overall shared services agreement: <br />Language added in Exhibit A, Scope of Services: <br />Human Resources Coordinator <br />Human Resources support services as described in Exhibit C attached. By mutual agreement, <br />the shared services will be in effect for at least two (2) years beginning on March 1, 2015. <br />Language added in Exhibit B, Fees: <br />Mississippi Watershed Management Organization shall pay to St. Anthony Village $3,629.50 <br />per month ($43,544 per year), which represents 50% of the total cost for the Human <br />Resources Coordinator position, not to exceed $50,000 annually. St. Anthony Village will bill <br />Mississippi Watershed Management Organization on a monthly basis. <br />In addition, Exhibit C was added, which is the position description for the Human Resources <br />Coordinator that was developed and agreed upon by both the City of St. Anthony and the MWMO. <br />Lastly, and unrelated to the Human Resources position, billing rates in Exhibit B for financial services <br />outside the scope of the agreement were updated. <br />47
