CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 15-052 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />FOR THE EAST METRO SWAT TEAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The East Metro SWAT Team provides specialized police services for its members in critical <br />emergency situations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony has been a part of the East Metro SWAT since 2002; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Currently, The East Metro SWAT is comprised of the police departments from Roseville, <br />St. Anthony, North St. Paul, The University of Minnesota; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Metro Transit wishes to join the East Metro SWAT as a member; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council authorizes the City of St. Anthony to <br />remain a member of the East Metro SWAT and execute Joint Powers Agreement. <br /> <br />Adopted this 25th day of August, 2015 <br /> <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Jerome O.
