ANTHONY 1 <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES 2 <br />SEPTEMBER 8, 2015 3 <br /> 4 <br />CALL TO ORDER. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 7 <br /> 8 <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. 11 <br /> 12 <br />ROLL CALL. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Present: Mayor Faust; Councilmembers Brever, Jenson, and Stille. 15 <br />Absent: Councilmember Gray 16 <br />Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey, Finance Director Shelly Rueckert and City Engineer 17 <br />Justin Messner, John Ohl, Police Chief, Mark Sitarz, Fire Chief 18 <br />Guests: Ms. Audrey Wagner 19 <br /> 20 <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING 21 <br />ITEMS. 22 <br /> 23 <br />I. APPROVAL OF SEPTEMBER 8, 2015 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. 24 <br /> 25 <br />Motion by Councilmember Brever, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City 26 <br />Council Meeting Agenda of September 8, 2015. 27 <br /> 28 <br />Motion carried unanimously. 29 <br /> 30 <br />II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. 31 <br /> 32 <br /> A. Donation from Audrey Wagner to the St. Anthony Police and Fire Departments. 33 <br /> 34 <br /> Ms. Audrey Wagner stated she and George her late husband wished to give a donation to the 35 <br />City Police and Fire Departments for the good work they have done in the past. She also 36 <br />presented Mayor Faust with a St. Anthony City Council money clip. 37 <br /> 38 <br /> Police Chief John Ohl stated Ms. Wagner needed to be talked into coming into the Council 39 <br />meeting this evening. He and Chief Sitarz want to thank Ms. Wagner for her donation. He stated 40 <br />the Wagners were the optimum of good residents. Audrey and George cared for the City and 41 <br />they have been pillars of the community. They define “good citizens”. Chief Sitarz stated 42 <br />George was an extremely kind man. He was Mr. St. Anthony. Chief Sitarz read a statement 43 <br />about George and Audrey Wagner. 44 <br /> 45 <br /> Mayor Faust stated he knew George for 20 years when he went on the Planning Commission. He 46 <br />stated he appreciates everything George and Audrey have done for the City. He thanked Audrey 47 <br />for the money clip and stated he will start a tradition and pass the clip onto another 48 <br />Councilmember in the future. 49 <br />3
