City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />May 12, 2015 <br />Page 4 <br />2 Councilmember Brever reported on her attendance at the Family Services Collaborative Board <br />3 meeting on April 30'h and the City Council work session on May 4`" <br />4 <br />5 Councilmember Jenson reported on his attendance at the spring cleanup day on May 2 "a. He also <br />6 reported on his attendance at the St. Anthony Community Center Advisory Council meeting on <br />7 May 7`" and the City Council work session on May 0. <br />8 <br />9 Councilmember Stille reported on his attendance at the spring cleanup day on May 2nd and the <br />10 City Council work session on May 4` ". <br />11 <br />12 Councilmember Gray provided an update on behalf of the North Suburban Communications <br />13 Commission and reported that the Comcast merger with Time Warner has been called off and the <br />14 Communications Commission is continuing to pursue a franchise agreement with CenturyLink. <br />15 He reported on his attendance at the VillageFest committee meeting on May l la' and stated there <br />16 is no golf tournament planned this year. He added the committee is looking for volunteers to <br />17 help and if interested, residents can send an email to StAnthonyVillageFest @gmail.com. He <br />18 also reported on his attendance at the spring cleanup day on May 2 "a <br />19 <br />20 Mayor Faust reported on his attendance at the spring cleanup day on May 2 "a. He also reported <br />21 on his attendance at a work session on May 11` with the Rice Creek Watershed District. He <br />22 reported on his attendance at the May 12th MWMO board meeting and was pleased to announce <br />23 that the St. Anthony Village regional storm water treatment plant has been fully funded at its <br />24 estimated cost of $1,650,000 and should begin construction next month. He advised that the <br />25 MWMO Board also approved a contract with the Freshwater Society called Master Water <br />26 Stewards, a program based on the Master Gardeners program and MWMO will be providing <br />27 guidance to groups wanting to participate in sustainability activities and the program provides a <br />28 way for the public to get involved in understanding water issues. <br />29 <br />30 VIII. Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda. <br />IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br />Mayor Faust stated that a recent Met Council publication contains a picture of the City's water <br />reuse facility. <br />X.
