ANTHONY <br />HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MEETING <br />4 <br />5 MAY 25, 2004 <br />6 <br />7 CALL TO ORDER. <br />8 Chair Hodson called the meeting to order at 7:59 p.m. <br />9 <br />10 ROLL CALL. <br />11 Commissioners present: Chair Hodson; Commissioners Stille, Thuesen, and Faust. <br />12 Commissioners absent: Commissioner Horst. <br />13 Also present: Executive Director Michael Morrison. <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 1. APPROVAL OF MAY 25, 2004, H.R.A. AGENDA. <br />17 Motion by Commissioner Thuesen, seconded by Commissioner Stille, to approve the May 25, <br />18 2004, Housing and Redevelopment Authority Agenda as presented. <br />19 <br />20 Motion carried unanimously. <br />21 <br />22 11. CONSENT AGENDA. <br />23 Motion by Commissioner Stille, seconded by Commissioner Faust, to approve the Consent <br />Morrison responded one of the contingencies of the conditional use permit was that the City <br />16 attorney, City engineer and staff approve the lighting and landscaping plans and they would be <br />47 sensitive to the remarks made at the last meeting. He added a public hearing had been held in <br />48 March regarding the project, however. <br />Agenda, which consisted of: <br />A. H.R.A. Meeting Minutes of May 11, 2004; and <br />26 <br />B. Claims. <br />27 <br />28 <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />29 <br />30 <br />Ill. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS. <br />31 <br />None. <br />32 <br />33 <br />IV. <br />GENERAL POLICY BUSINESS OF THE H.R.A. <br />34 <br />None. <br />35 <br />36 <br />V. <br />STAFF REPORTS. <br />37 <br />Executive Director Morrison reported a hearing date for the week of July 12, 2004, was set for <br />38 <br />the Tires Plus lease condemnation. He indicated he would be attending the hearing with staff <br />39 <br />attorneys from Dorsey and Whitney, adding it was hoped the other three properties would have <br />40 <br />negotiated settlements. <br />41 <br />42 <br />VI. <br />H.R.A. COMMISSIONER COMMENTS. <br />43 <br />Commissioner Thuesen asked if the concerns discussed by residents at the May 11, 2004, <br />44 <br />Council meeting regarding the new Tires Plus location were being addressed.
