• H.R.A. RESOLUTION 87-003 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REDEVELOPMENT CONTRACT <br /> WHEREAS., Minnesota Statutes authorize the St. Anthony Housing and <br /> Redevelopment Authority (H.R.A. ) to enter into a Contract for <br /> Redevelopment of property within a Redevelopment -Project Area; and <br /> WHEREAS, the H.R.A. has duly adopted a Redevelopment Plan, es- <br /> tablished a Redevelopment Project_ Area and established a Redevelop- <br /> ment/Housing Tax Increment Financing District; and <br /> WHEREAS , the Planning Commission and City Council have approved such <br /> Redevelopment and Tax Increment Financing Plans; and <br /> WHEREAS, the H.R.A. entered into an original Redevelopment Contract <br /> with Arkand Partnership dated May 23 , 1983., which Contract was <br /> subsequently amended by various amendments (the "Arkand Contract" ; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, it has been deemed to be in . the best interests of the H.R.A. <br /> and the City of St. Anthony to terminate the Arkand Contract with <br /> respect to those portions of the Redevelopment Project which have not <br /> • yet been completed under the Arkand Contract, and to enter into a new <br /> Redevelopment Contract with Wilson Street Associates, a Minnesota <br /> general partnership ( "Wilson" ) , for any remaining portions of the <br /> development to be completed within the Redevelopment Project -Area; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, a form of Redevelopment Contract acceptable to the Executive <br /> Director of the H.R.A. , the H.R.A. ' s Attorney and the H.R.A. ' s <br /> consultant, and acceptable . to Wilson, has been submitted to the <br /> H.R.A. for approval. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the H.R.A. , having reviewed the <br /> proposed Redevelopment Contract with Wilson, hereby authorizes the <br /> H.R.A. ' s Executive Director, Attorney and Consultant 'to finalize the <br /> Redevelopment Contract with Wilson and to prepare such documents as <br /> may be necessary with respect to termination of the Redevelopment <br /> Contract with Arkand, and further authorizes the H.R.A. Chairman <br /> and Secretary/Treasurer to execute the new Redevelopment Contract <br /> with Wilson on behalf of the H.R.A. and to execute such documents as <br /> may be necessary for termination of the Arkand Contract insofar as it <br /> relates to those phases of the project which have not yet been <br /> completed under the Arkand Contract. <br /> Adopted this day of 1987 . <br /> • <br />
