ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 00-031 <br /> A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR STREET <br /> AND SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS FOR 33RD AVENUE NE, <br /> BETWEEN SILVER LAKE ROAD AND STINSON BOULEVARD <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan for <br /> the above referenced project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according <br /> to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> Bidder/Address Total Bid <br /> Knish Construction, Inc. $736,995.30 <br /> Progressive Contractors, Inc. $699,563.25 <br /> Tenson Construction, Inc. $623,707.00 <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that Tenson Construction. Inc. of Big Fork, Minnesota, is the lowest <br /> responsible bidder. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony: <br /> i Manager are hereby 1. That the Mayor and City g y authorized and directed to enter into a <br /> contract with Tenson Construction, Inc., in the amount of$623,707.00 in the name of the <br /> City of St. Anthony, Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the above referenced <br /> project according to the plans and specifications, therefore, approved by the City Council <br /> and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br /> 2. The Engineer, SEH/RCM, Inc., is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to <br /> all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the,successful <br /> bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> Adopted this day of , 2000. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: <br /> City Manager <br />
