ANTHONY <br /> • <br /> RESOLUTION 00-066 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY•AND <br /> FINAL DEVELOPMENT PLANS RELATING <br /> TO THE APACHE PLAZA PROPERTY, SUBMITTED BY <br /> HILLCREST DEVELOPMENT LIMITED PARTNERSHIP <br /> WHEREAS, Hillcrest Development Limited Partnership has submitted Preliminary and Final <br /> Development Plans for the redevelopment of the Apache Plaza property; and <br /> WHEREAS., said Plans have been reviewed by the St. Anthony Planning Commission at a <br /> public hearing; and, by unanimous approval, the Planning Commission <br /> recommended the St. Anthony.City Council approve said Preliminary and Final <br /> Development Plans. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br /> hereby approves the Preliminary and Final Development Plans for the Apache Plaza property, <br /> submitted by Hillcrest Development Limited Partnership and that includes a rezoning from a <br /> "C", Commercial, to a Planned Unit Development, "PUD", zoning district based on the <br /> following: <br /> • • the Jul 27 2000 Preliminary and Final Development Plans as last revised <br /> Y ry P <br /> August , 2000; <br /> • the August 1, 2000 Exhibit A, as modified by John Shardlow; <br /> • deferred approvals for the Comprehensive Sign Plan; the Lighting Plan, which <br /> must be consistent with City plans; and the redevelopment of the New Market <br /> site. <br /> The City Council further finds that: <br /> • the proposed Plans are consistent with the existing Comprehensive Plan; <br /> • Apache Plaza is an underdeveloped commercial property and has been in this <br /> condition for several years during which time the City has seen no significant <br /> interest in redevelopment from developers; <br /> • Apache Plaza property represents the most significant underdeveloped asset in <br /> the City's non-residential tax base; <br /> • • recent adjacent development has failed to rekindle the commercial <br /> redevelopment of the Apache Plaza property; <br />
