A number of reasons could be used to explain the necessity for this extension. However, we feel the primary cause has been our dedication to seeing that this redevelopment project is done right. From the "mood of the market" , the model and sales office preparation , and the advertising campaign to the timing .,of- the market kickoff, : the efforts have been directed to making as favorable an impression as possible on the people who count - the potential buyers at Kenzington. 0arly results have been very gratifying. The first open house the weekend of February 11th generated almost 300 walk-thru' s. The week that followed saw an average of 30 per day visit the sales center. Traffic continues to be strong. Most importantly, sales are again building momentum - since the Saturday of February ll.th. As you recall, 13 sales were made before a model was available . Little activity occured over the holiday period from Thanks- giving through New Years. With a total of 22 sales now under our belt , we are optimistic about hitting our 50% pre-sale during May, 1984 . Our request for the additional 180 days is predicted on our desire to have to come to you again should something unforseen take us beyond May.
