Staff Meeting Notes February 21, 1984 <br /> The meeting began at 4 : 30 A.M. Present: Larry Hamer, Carol- Johnson, <br /> Don Hickerson, Dave Childs , Ray Nelson, and Connie Kroeplin. Lee <br /> Entner was absent. <br /> i <br /> Larry Hamer said the Police Department renovations should be completed <br /> by February 24th. There will be a large area to be used as an exercise <br /> room for all City- employees . Several exercise items will need to <br /> be purchased; the twoTmost expensive are the universal gym and a <br /> treadmill. Mr. Hamer will check on schools for the purchase of these <br /> two items. <br /> • The first project this spring for the Public Works Department will <br /> be the replacement of the sanitary sewer line between 36th and 37th <br /> Avenues . The crews will also begin sweeping the roads and replacing <br /> sod as soon as feasible .- <br /> Mr. Hamer briefly discussed the County Road D project and noted he <br /> has obtained camera and equipment for use at various events for any <br /> Department wishing to do so. <br /> Chief Hickerson gave those present an update on Officer Schwalbach, <br /> saying the operation on his neck was successful. <br /> Carol Johnson had recently received a letter from ex-Police Officer <br /> Hawkinson. He is living in Arizona and managing a trailer court. <br /> Sales at SAV of $8,000 on Friday and $10.,000 on Saturday (2/17 and 18) <br /> were noted by Ray Nelson. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 10 :45 A.M. <br /> cjk <br />
