• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> November 13, 1984 <br /> The meeting was opened at 7:30 P.M. with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor <br /> Sundland. <br /> Present for roll call : Ranallo, Sundland, Enrooth, and Makowske. <br /> Absent: Marks. <br /> Also present: David Childs, City. Manager. <br /> The following amendment was made to the Council 's October 23rd minutes : <br /> Page 6, para. 7: Insert after "Council . " in Line 7, "Councilman Ranallo indicated <br /> he perceived St. Anthony had a long history of strong ethnic <br /> connections with European countries and he suggested contacts <br /> be made with Germany or Poland. " <br /> Motion by Councilman Makowske and seconded by Mayor Sundland to approve as amended <br /> the minutes of the Council meeting held October 23, 1984. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> • A brief discussion of the reasons car starting licenses were established preceded <br /> the action on the licenses listed in the November 13th agenda. <br /> Motion. by Councilman Makowske and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to approve the <br /> following: <br /> Motor Vehicle Starting License <br /> Dick's Standard. <br /> Heat Licenses <br /> Neil & Hubbard Heating & Air Conditioning; <br /> Nelson Heating & Air Conditioning; and <br /> Riccar Heating, & Air Conditioning. <br /> Contractors Licenses <br /> Bryant Construction, Rogers, MN; <br /> North Star Services, St. Paul , MN; <br /> Potvin Sales Company, Fridley, MN; and <br /> MLK Investments, Fridley, MN. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> • The Manager distributed copies of the October. 31st and November 30th verified claims <br /> and indicated the Finance Director perceived the investment with the Offerman & <br /> Company would give the City the best return possible in today 's market. <br />
