NEW BUSINESS • Lake Animal Care, Inc Selected for City's Animal Control in 1987 Police Chief Hickerson had compared bids from two animal control vendors in his December 16th memorandum gave the reasons he had perceived for awarding the contract to the above. Mr. Childs indicated the City' s costs the past few years seemed to warrant the use of a vendor who did not charge a monthly maintenance fee. He also advised the City Attorney had -some changes he wanted to make in the wording of the contract. Council Action Motion by Ranallo, , seconded by Marks to authorize the signing of the proposed contract with Lake Animal Care, Inc. after the City Attorney has made the changes in the wording he considers necessary.
