Below is our <br /> the sewage lift <br /> understanding of the situation surrounding the existing lift station and our <br /> proposed scope of study. The study will require approximately two to five <br /> rieke months to complete depending upon what the study finds. The cost of <br /> Auffecarrell performing the study will be $4,500 if flow measurement is not required. The City contains a land area nof <br /> approximately 1,500 acres. The Foss Road lift station serves the entire <br /> portion of the City between Silver Lane and County Road D (37th Avenue), <br /> which includes a land area of approximately 300 acres. An additional of approximately 60 acres north of Silver Lake is located within the city <br /> limits but is not served by sanitary sewer. If this 60 acre area were to be <br /> served, wastewater from this area will also flow through in the Foss Road <br /> lift station. <br /> The existing lift station is a 1950 vintage "Package" lift station of the wet <br /> well/dry well type. The dry well is a metal:structure which contains two <br /> (2) Fairbanks Pumps rated at .1,200 m <br /> and an air dehumidifier. The wet well is apconcrete structure. controls <br /> station is approximately 35 feet deep.
