Delivery <br /> of a new motor will be in four or five weeks. Well #4 can be <br /> in service by the beginning of the summer. <br /> COUNCIL ACTION: By motion, move to approve the low bid from Layne Minnesota of <br /> $12,800.00. <br /> SUMMARY OF QUOTATIONS: Specifications for the replacement of the motor and component <br /> parts on Well #4 were sent out to several well-known well con- <br /> tractors. Two quotations have been received, one from Keys Well <br /> Drilling Company for $13,319.00 and Layne Minnesota for <br /> $12,800.00. The quotations included the motor and component parts <br /> for the well , installation, testing, FOB St. Anthony. <br /> The electrical parts and hookup was not included in the above <br /> quotations but are on a separate specification. Quotes for this <br /> have not all been received yet. <br /> It doesn't appear that the complete project will exceed the <br /> budgeted amount of $23,000. <br /> cj k:1 .13.87 <br />
