The committee will also discuss a progress report on <br /> Lake Minnetonka Regional Park planning. .. <br /> Developmental Disabilities Advisory Committee- Tuesday, Feb. 9., 1 P.M. Room C <br /> & D. The committee will hear a follow-up report on special education hearings <br /> and a long-term care insurance report. The committee will also discuss* the <br /> Council's State of the Region dinner, the 1988 legislative session and a <br /> conference of the President's Committee on Mental Retardation. The Medicaid <br /> and Case Management Project Task Forces will present reports to the committee. <br /> Metropolitan Waste Management Advisory Committee - Tuesday, Feb. 99 2 p.m., <br /> Council Chambers. The committee will consider an application submitted by <br /> Fabcon, Inc. for an industrial waste landfill permit. The committee will also <br /> discuss proposed waste reduction and recycling legislation and the schedule and <br /> background studies for. the Council's solid waste policy plan. <br /> Health Planning Board - Wednesday, Feb. 10, 3 p.m., Council Chambers. The <br /> board will hear a report from its director, a report from the Minnesota <br /> Department of Health on what's happening with HMOs and a position statement on <br /> AIDS from the Minnesota Public Health Association. The board will also discuss <br /> the hospital evaluation report and data on hospital use for the first six <br /> months of 1987. <br /> Metropolitan and Community Development Committee - Thursday, Feb. 11, 2 p.m., <br /> Council Chambers. The c0mmittee will discuss the Minority Issues Advisory <br /> Committee's 1987 year-end report and quality of life strategic planning. The <br />
