Councilmember Ranallo inquired <br /> 3 about the parking situation at the off-sale and was told by Mr. <br /> 4 Nelson that it may be a problem but assured the Councilmember that a <br /> 5 solution will be worked out. Mr. Nelson proceeded to describe some of <br /> 6 the possibilities. <br /> 7 Mr. Nelson expressed the need for Council' s input regarding to the <br /> 8 Apache bar and lounge which has been losing business since the bottle <br /> 9 shop was moved out. Because he cannot be 'at the goal setting retreat, <br /> 10 Mr. Nelson suggested the Council and he set up a work session to <br /> 11 discuss his goals and their suggestions for 1988 . This action was <br /> 12 agreed upon by the Councilmembers. Mr. Nelson left the meeting at <br /> 13 9 : 00 P.M. <br /> 14 Changes In Weapons Ordinance Approved <br /> 15 The third readings and adoption of the two Ordinances, 1988-001 and <br /> 16 1988-002 , listed under UNFINISHED BUSINESS on the agenda, were <br /> 17 considered next. <br /> 18 Chief Hickerson had suggested the City Attorney make some changes to <br /> 19 the weapons ordinance, 1988-001. The City Attorney agreed to the <br /> 20 changes and the City Manager distributed the copies indicating the <br /> 21 changes. In addition, Chief Hickerson suggested the word "unloaded" <br /> 22 be added in Subd. 3 before "firearm in the closed trunk of" . The <br /> 23 changes were all agreed upon by the Councilmembers. • <br /> 24 Council Action <br /> 25 Motion by Marks, seconded by Makowske to approve the third reading and <br /> 26 adopt the corrected version of Ordinance 1988-001. <br /> 27 ORDINANCE 1988-001 <br /> 28 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO WEAPONS, AMENDING <br /> 29 SECTION 925 OF THE 1973 ST. ANTHONY CODE OF ORDINANCES <br /> 30 IN ITS ENTIRETY; REPEALING SUBDIVISIONS 3 AND 4 OF <br /> 31 SECTION 930 OF THE 1973 ST. ANTHONY CODE OF ORDINANCES <br /> 32 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 33 Motion by Sundland, seconded by Marks to approve the third reading and <br /> 34 adopt Ordinance 1988-002 . <br /> 35 ORDINANCE 1988-002 <br /> 36 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE <br /> 37 REGULATION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES; <br /> 38 AMENDING THE 1973 CODE OF ORDINANCES <br /> 39 TO ADD A SECTION <br /> 40 Motion carried unanimously. • <br /> 6 <br />
