MEMORANDUM <br /> • <br /> DATE: March 15 , 1988 <br /> TO: Dave Childs, City Manager <br /> Department Heads <br /> FROM: Connie Kroeplin <br /> ITEM: STAFF MEETING NOTES - MARCH 15 , 1988 <br /> The meeting began at 10 : 05 A.M. Present were Larry Hamer, Connie <br />_ Kroeplin., Carol Johnson, Dave Childs, and Lee Entner. Ray Nelson <br /> was absent and was Don Hickerson, who is on vacation in the <br /> Indonesian Islands , i.e. , Malaysia, Bali, Jakarta, etc. <br /> Carol Johnson <br /> 1. Ms. Johnson has submitted an article on the new voting mach- <br /> ines for the Newsletter. The City Manager had requested the <br /> articles by March 15th. Her article also mentioned the need <br /> for Election judges. <br /> 2. Ms. Davis' training is proceeding fine and Ms. Johnson <br /> expects Ms. Davis will move into the "finance" office <br /> around April 1st. <br /> 3 . Ms. Johnson will attend the Clerk' s Conference at Arrowwood <br /> Tuesday through Friday of next week. <br /> Larry Hamer <br /> 1. Mr. Hamer is getting quotes for re-roofing the Fire Station. <br /> He has also asked them for an evaluation of a re-roof at <br /> the liquor store. <br /> 2. Remodeling the restrooms will be the final work to be done <br /> by the Public Works at the Stonehouse. The work will be <br /> done during the night ( 1 : 30 A.M. to early morning hours) . <br /> 3 . Half the Village streets have been swept. <br /> 4. Four new houses are being constructed in the Village at this <br /> time (on Croft, Silver Lake Road, 35th and Edward, and <br /> 37th and Roosevelt) . <br /> 5. Mr. Hamer will meet with the Village Gardenettes in April to <br /> discuss Village beautification projects such as a new Vil- <br /> lage sign at Trillium Park, upgrading the Stonehouse area, <br /> etc. <br />
