AMM ANNUAL MEETING WEDNESDAY, MAY 189 1988. <br /> The 1988 AMM Annual Meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday <br /> evening May 18 , 1988. Many of the meeting details have not been <br /> finalized as yet but it will be a dinner meeting beginning with a <br /> social hour starting at about 5: 3.0 P .M. Please mark your calendars <br /> now for this important and fun event! A notice detailing the <br /> the specific arrangements will be mailed in late April. <br /> 2. NOMINATING COMMITTEE APPOINTED BY BOARD OF DIRECTORS: <br /> A seven member Nominating Committee was appointed by the Board of <br /> Directors on March 5th. Members are: Chair Mary Anderson, Golden <br /> Valley Mayor; Duke Addicks, Minneapolis Legislative Liaison; <br /> Betty McCollum, North St. Paul Councilmember; Carl Meissner, <br /> Cottage Grove Administrator; Bill Saed, Inver ,Grove Heights Mayor; <br /> Dennis Schneider, Fridley Councilmember; and Gloria Vierling, <br /> Shakopee Councilmember. <br /> The officies of President, Vice-President and eight directors are <br /> up for election. We are asking for your help in putting forth <br /> candidates for Board of Directors and Officers. I.f you know of a <br /> city official who would be considered for nomination; please give <br /> his or her name and a brief written resume of qualifications to <br /> Vern Peterson or to a member of the Nominating Committee by no <br /> later than April 8 , 1988 . <br /> 3. LEGISLATIVE STATUS: <br /> It is that time of the Legislative Session when the status and <br /> content of major pieces of Legislation change on a daily basis or <br /> even more frequently.
