The Senate companion, SF 1902, was stripped of both the <br /> beverage container deposit section and the packaging tax by a <br /> subcommittee of the Environment and National Resources <br /> Committee and then was passed to full committee. The bill was <br /> not heard in full committee prior to the Committee deadlines <br /> because there were no provisions left in the bill to pay for <br /> the mandatory curbside recycling activities.
