To lower the liquor liability insurance rate by 10%, a <br /> servers ' training program will be presented to the <br /> liquor personnel next Monday. <br /> 2. Mr. Nelson indicated the ash trays and ice requested for <br /> use at the Biennial Ball will be readied by the time they <br /> are needed. <br /> 3 . Mr. Childs discussed the possibility of the City being one <br /> of the hosts at the League of Minnesota Cities Conference in <br /> • June with Mr. Nelson. <br /> Don Hickerson <br /> 1. The City now has two. MacGruff Safe Houses for the safety of ., <br /> children after school. <br /> 2. Another area was added to the Neighborhood Crime Watch <br /> neighborhoods. <br /> 3 . Thirty-two requests for interviews were sent out for the new <br /> police officer position ( three of whom were females) . There <br /> were 11 responses/interviews (no females responded) and <br /> about 7 of these will be given the oral tests. <br /> 4 . An auction of property confiscated by the St. Anthony Police <br /> Department will be held May 23rd, at the Anoka/Fridley <br /> auction, 8348 East River Road, at 6: 30 P.M. <br /> Connie Kroeplin <br /> 1 . About 20 applications have been received for the reception- <br /> ist/clerk position in the front office. These will be <br /> reviewed and it is expected that about 5 persons will be <br /> interviewed (all applicants were female) . <br /> 2. Information regarding an upcoming LMC Insurance Trust <br /> safety/loss control seminar was distributed. Mr. Childs <br />
