ANTHONY, MINNESOTA Notice is hereby given that the City of St. Anthony, Minnesota will-receive bids at the office of the City Clerk, 3301 Silver Lake Road, St. Anthony, Minnesota 55418, until 10:00 A.M. DST, April 26, 1988, for the construction of Section "A" St. Anthony Blvd. grading and paving (S.A.P. 161-106-05) and Section "B" Kenzie Terrace street improvements (City of St. Anthony Project). Following that time, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposals arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened. The major items are as follows: SECTION "A" Remove Concrete Pavement With. Bituminous Surfacing 9700 SY Remove Concrete Curb and Curb and Gutter 5500 LF Unclassified Excavation 8000 CY Geotextile Fabric for Roadways 11000 SY Aggregate Base Class 3 and Class 5 16000 TON Bituminous Base, Binder and Wear Course 2600 TON B618 Curb and Gutter 5500 LF SECTION "B" Remove Concrete Curb and Curb and Gutter 400 LF • Remove Concrete Pavement 220 SY Aggregate Base Class 5 80 TON Concrete Pavement 175 SY Concrete Curb and Curb and Gutter 550 LF One contract will be awarded which will include both Section "A" and Section "B" construction. The bids must be submitted on the proposal forms provided and in accordance with the contract documents and specifications as prepared by Rieke Carroll Muller Associates, Inc., Minnetonka, Minnesota which are on file and may be seen at the office of the City Clerk or the Minnetonka offices of Rieke Carroll Muller Associates, Inc. Copies of the above Documents may be obtained from the Minnetonka office of Rieke Carroll Muller Associates, Inc., P.O. Box 130, Minnetonka, Minnesota 55343, upon a deposit of $50.00 per set, the full amount of which will be refunded to all bonafide bidders upon return of the plans and specifications in good usable condition within ten 10 days) after the date bids are opened. All other planholders will be refunded one- half the amount for all sets returned in good condition within ten 10 days) after the date bids are opened. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and all bids shall be sealed, together with the bid security, in an• opaque envelope which shall be plainly marked with the project and the name and address of the Bidder. If a bid is to be mailed to the City Clerk, the bid envelope should be sealed in a regular mailing envelope. Bids shall be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bidder's bond, or certified • check payable to the City of St. Anthony, Minnesota for not less than five (5) percent of the amount of such bid.
