• STAFF NEETING NOTES <br /> SEPTEMBER 20, 1988 <br /> The meeting began at 1 :05 P.M. -Those present were Ray Nelson, <br /> Lee Entner, Don Hickerson, Sue VanderHeyden, Connie Kroeplin, <br /> .Larry Hamer, and David Childs. <br /> Ray Nelson <br /> 1 . Mr. Nelson is researching the costs of redoing Apache Wells <br /> and having conversations with C. G. Rein. <br /> Don Nickerson <br /> 1 . Chief Hickerson is continuing to work on the purchase of a <br /> new computer for the Police Department. <br /> 2. A new reserve has joined the Department. Her name is Lori <br /> Gibons and she began working for the department about a month <br /> ago. <br /> Sue VanderHeyden <br /> 1 . Reminded those present that she needs articles for the <br /> • upcoming October City Newsletter as soon as possible. <br /> Larry Hamer <br /> 1 . The new voting machines worked well during the Primary <br /> Election. There was a problem with only one and the problem was <br /> corrected quickly. <br /> 2 . New construction around the Village has decreased during the <br /> last month. <br /> 3 . The Recycling Center ( in conjunction with Hennepin County) <br /> will accept leaves, grass, and clippings that the residents drop <br /> off. An article will be prepared for the Newsletter. <br /> 4 . Work is progressing on beautifying center medians with <br /> plants and flowerbeds. <br /> Dave Childs <br /> 1 . The City Council has indicated they feel strongly about <br /> designating some money for improvements to City facilities. <br /> 2. Friday, September 23rd is Kiwanis Peanut Day. <br />
