1 Sale and Issuance of $10 ,750 ,000 Housing Development Revenue Bonds for <br /> 2 the St. Anthony/LaNel Project Authorized by Council 0 <br /> 3 At 9: 22 P.M. Mayor Sundland opened the public hearing scheduled that <br /> 4 evening on the proposal that the City issue its refunding revenue <br /> 5 bonds in order to refund the $11 , 990,000 Multifamily Housing Revenue <br /> 6 Bonds for the Arkand Limited Partnership project for Phase III of the <br /> 7 Kenzie Terrace Redevelopment Project and to authorize the use of <br /> 8 $10,750, 000 of those bonds for the project LaNel Developers propose <br /> 9 instead for the project. Mr. Childs explained that the larger figure <br /> 10 which was quoted in the Notice of the Hearing which appeared in the St. <br /> 11 Anthony Bulletin was the maximum aggregate in the original authorization <br /> 12 and the $10,750, 000 figure was the actual figure needed to do the <br /> 13 project under a new developer. The Manager also reported there had been <br /> 14 no public reaction to the Notice. <br /> 15 There was no one present to provide further input to the consideration <br /> 16 and the Mayor closed the public hearing at 9:22 P.M. at the same time <br /> 17 the following was made: <br /> 18 Council Action <br /> 19 Motion by Ranallo, seconded by Makowske to adopt Resolution 88-037. <br /> 20 RESOLUTION 88-037 <br /> 21 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND <br /> 22 ISSUANCE OF $10,750,000 HOUSING DEVELOPMENT REVENUE <br /> 23 BONDS (ST. ANTHONY LANEL PROJECT) SERIES 1988 OF THE <br /> 24 CITY AND THE EXECUTION OF NECESSARY DOCUMENTS <br /> 25 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 26 REPORTS <br /> 27 PROCLAMATION <br /> 28 Motion by Marks, seconded by Ranallo to authorize the Mayor to sign the <br /> 29 proclamation designating the week of September 17 through 23 , 1988 as <br /> 30 "Constitution Week" in St. Anthony. <br /> 31 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 32 COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> 33 Makowske to Attend September 20th AMM Housing Committee Meeting <br /> 34 Councilmember Makowske indicated she was sorry not to have been able to <br /> 35 attend the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities Housing Commission <br /> 36 meetings for the past month and a half but said she had information <br /> 37 available on the meetings for any Councilmember who wanted to know more <br /> 12 • <br />
