Because the land is zoned R-1 and <br /> the use is, therefore, a legal non-conforming use, the question about <br /> rebuilding if the building is destroyed by fire, etc. is of great con- <br /> cern to him as the owner. <br /> Page 17 (attached) of the Zoning Ordinance gives a list of the uses per- <br /> mitted and conditionally permitted in a B (service/office limited <br /> business ) zone. <br /> The City' s comprehensive plan shows this location as service/office. As <br /> shown in the minutes, one call was received opposing the zone change and <br /> two residents appeared in opposition. <br /> The Commission voted 4 - 2 not to recommend approval. <br /> :cjk9 . 27.88 <br />
