Attorney who <br /> 4 reported all except ACS, and the Twin City Harley/Davidson establish- <br /> 5 ments were on month-to-month leases. Those two businesses have one year <br /> 6 leases with the motorcycle store having also been granted two, 1 year <br /> 7 options. Both of these leases have condemnation clauses which may have <br /> 8 to be negotiated since the property wasn't acquired by condemnation. <br /> 9 Mr. So th said he wasn't expecting to have to go to• condemnation but told <br /> 10 the H.R.A. if satisfactory relocation agreements can't be reached, the <br /> it condemnation process could take up to 120 days. <br /> 12 H.R.A. Action <br /> 13 Motion by Marks, seconded by Ranallo to authorize Federal State <br /> 14 Relocation, Inc. to begin relocation activities September 28, 1988 <br /> 15 through hand delivered notices to all current St. Anthony Village <br /> 16 Shopping Center tenants to vacate within 90 days of that notice. <br /> 17 Motion carded unanimously. <br /> 18 Mt. Childs advised that the LaNel Partnership had sold the $10,750,000 <br /> 19 Housing and Redevelopment Bonds issued to finance Phase III of the <br /> 20 Kenzie Terrace Redevelopment Project for 7% and were now in the process <br /> 21 of replatting the land to accommodate three buildings and larger unit <br /> 22 sizes. The H.R.A. Attorney said he was quite confident a satisfactory • <br /> 23 agrement could be negotiated with the Town and Country Store property <br /> 24 owners (Krause/Anderson) to acquire the necessary triangular parcel <br /> 25 necessary for this replatting. <br /> 26 Chair Commends Staff for °A Job Well Done° on This Difficult Project <br /> 27 Chair Sundland made the above recommendation which was unanimously <br /> 28 accepted by the rest of the H.R.A. members. A celebration was delayed <br /> 29 until sometime after October 13th when the Chair indicated he would be <br /> 30 back from his vacation. <br /> 31 ADJOURNMENT <br /> 32 Motion by Marks, seconded by Enrooth to adjourn the H.R.A. meeting at <br /> 33 9:50 P.M. <br /> 34 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 35 Respectfully submitted, <br /> 36 Helen Crowe, Secretary <br /> • <br />
