Childs City Manager <br /> I TEM : REQUEST FROM MINNESOTA SCIENTIFIC <br /> On August 18, 1987 the Planning Commission recommended that Minnesota <br /> Scientific be allowed a 12 X 56 foot temporary office at 3839 Chandl- <br /> er Drive. The Commission recommended that the trailer be removed no <br /> later than December, 1988, and within 10 days of Minnesota Scientific <br /> vacating the building. The City Council approved the recommendation <br /> of the Commission, but gave an earlier deadline for removal of the <br /> trailer at October 31, 1988. <br /> The applicants state that their move to a new location has been <br /> delayed a few months and they are asking for an extension to the <br /> permit deadline. <br /> Their attached letter and the minutes from the previous meetings <br /> should bring you up to date on this. <br /> We have received no calls either for or against this request. <br /> :cjk10. 18. 88 <br />
