City of St. Anthony <br /> • V. BROKER/INSURER SERVICES <br /> The City of St. Anthony is concerned with controlling losses with a special <br /> emphasis on Workers' Compensation related incidents but not limited thereto. <br /> The proposal should include services available from the broker and insurer <br /> to assist the City in controlling losses in the work place. This includes <br /> accident prevention, as well -as activities that can minimize lost time <br /> Workers' Compensation claims. <br /> The City of St. Anthony requires prompt information on the status of injured <br /> employees to facilitate early return to work. Please be specific in <br /> describing loss control assistance available. <br /> Loss experience reports should be provided on a monthly basis for Workers' <br /> Compensation and a quarterly basis for other lines of coverage. These <br /> reports should be received by the City within 30 days after the experience <br /> period ends so that claims and reserves can be monitored and verified. <br /> A summary of the services required -from the successful broker include the <br /> following: <br /> A. Experience reports generated monthly and received <br /> within 30 days after the reporting period ends. <br /> • B. Specific loss prevention services available from <br /> the broker/insurer. <br /> C. Broker' s assistance in handling Workers' Compensation <br /> back related injuries and other high potential value <br /> claims. Assistance in all other claims. <br /> D. Quarterly review of outstanding claims and other <br /> insurance related matters. <br /> E. Annual meeting with Workers' Compensation Claims <br /> Examiner to review specific claims prior to Unit Stat <br /> Cards being sent to the Minnesota Workers' Compensation <br /> Rating Organization. <br /> so <br /> -19- March 22, 1989 <br />
