Crack filling tar bucket mounted on a trailer; <br /> b. pavement crack saw; and <br /> c. hot rod lance. <br /> The City received the following four bids: <br /> Company Tar Bucket Saw Hot Rod Lance <br /> Carlson Equip- No bid $4,895 $1,495 <br /> ment <br /> Stepp Manu- $12 ,250 No bid No bid <br /> facturing <br /> Metroquip $15,400 $4,850 $2,510 <br /> Construction $13 ,860 $4 ,365 $2,460 <br /> Materials <br /> Funds for the purchase of this equipment will be taken from the 1989 <br /> road budget in lieu of sealcoating. <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> 1 . Tar Bucket: Stepp Manufacturing for $12,250 <br /> 2. Saw: Construction Materials for $4,365. <br /> 3 . Hot Rod Lance: Construction Materials for S2,460. Carlson Equipment <br /> was low bidder but did not meet the specification which called for an <br /> electronic hot rod lance to be used with propane. <br /> :cjkll.28.89 <br />
