CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> PUBLIC HEARING ON ALLOCATION OF <br /> 1990 CDBG FUNDS <br /> APRIL 3 , 1990 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chair John Madden. <br /> Present: Madden, Werenicz , Faust, Franzese, Hansen, Brownell , <br /> Wagner <br /> Absent: none <br /> Also present: Sue VanderHeyden, Assistant to the City Manager <br /> The notice of hearing for the allocation of Year XIV CDBG funds was <br /> published in the St. Anthony Bulletin on March 21 , 1990 . <br /> Discussion ensued regarding the proposed activities for use of <br /> these funds, which are: <br /> • Senior citizens program $ 4,072 <br /> Single family housing rehab $ 6,500 <br /> (low-moderate income) <br /> Recodification $15,000 <br /> Motion by Chair Madden, seconded by Commissioner Hansen to <br /> recommend to the City Council approval of Resolution 90-015, the <br /> proposed use of Year XVI Urban Hennepin County Community <br /> Development Block Grant funds and to authorize submittal of the <br /> proposal to Hennepin County for review-by the Urban Hennepin County <br /> Citizens Advisory Committee for inclusion in the Year XVI Urban <br /> Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant Program Statement <br /> of Objectives and Projected Use of Funds. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> No one was present to speak for or against this matter. <br /> After a brief discussion of upcoming Planning Commission items <br /> motion was made by Commissioner Hansen and seconded by Commissioner <br /> Werenicz to adjourn the public hearing. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> . :cjk <br />
