Burt, City Manager <br /> FROM: Roger Larson, Finance Director <br /> ITEM: 2% INSURANCE PREMIUM PAYMENT FOR FIRE RELIEF <br /> Each year the City of St. Anthony receives a check from the State of Minnesota for Fire <br /> State Aid. This money comes from a 2% premium placed on homeowner fire insurance and <br /> is designated for the volunteer fire fighters pension fund. <br /> For auditing purposes, this money is recorded in the City accounting records-and paid out <br /> to the Fire Relief Association. <br /> Recommendation <br /> Council approve transfer of payment to the St. Anthony Fire Relief Association in the <br /> amount of $20,195.00. <br /> • <br />
