APPROVAL OF JUNE 18, 1996 PLANNING COMMISSION AGENDA. <br /> 13 Motion by Franzese, seconded by Delmonico,to approve the Planning Commission Agenda for <br /> 14 June 18, 1996 with the following changes: <br /> 15 Delete Item W. Approval of May 20, 1996 Planning Commission Minutes. <br /> 16 Delete Item VII. B. Concept Review of Proposed Lot Split/Double Bungalow Bauer. <br /> I <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 18 V. DESIGNATE PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE TO JUNE 259 1996 <br /> 19 COUNCIL MEETING. <br /> 20 Chair Bergstrom was appointed as the Planning Commission representative for the Tuesday,June <br /> 21 25, 1996, City Council meeting. <br /> 22 VL• • PUBLIC HEARINGS. <br /> 23 A St, Anthony Unocal-76 <br /> 24 1. Conditional Use Permit <br /> 25 Chair Bergstrom opened the public hearing at 7:03 p.m. <br /> 26. Commissioner Makowske acknowledged that he felt this was an excellent prospect for expansion. <br /> 27 He would however, refrain from voting or conversation on the issue as in the course of his <br /> 28 business dealings he did receive direct financial benefit. <br /> 29 Kim Moore-Sykes,Management Assistant reported Roger Bona, owner of the Unocal 76 Service <br /> 30 Station, 2812-27th Avenue NE,is proposing to build an addition to his existing service station <br /> 31 so that he will be able to expand his auto repair business. The purpose of the addition is to <br /> 32 increase the number of repair bays. <br /> The proposed expansion is 5,613 square feet, requiring an additional 19 parking spaces. Mr. <br /> Bona is proposing to put 21 parking spaces on site and to construct 14 additional parking spaces <br /> 35 on an adjacent piece of property that he recently purchased. The old meat market building will be <br /> 36 demolished to make way for a portion of the proposed on-site parking. <br />
