CALL TO ORDER. <br /> 6 The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. following the Pledge of Allegiance led by <br /> 7 Mayor Ranallo. <br /> 8 II. ROLL CALL. <br /> 9 Councilmembers Present:. Ranallo, Marks, Enrooth, Wagner, and Faust. <br /> 10 Also Present: City Manager Michael Morrison, Police Chief Richard Engstrom, Liquor <br /> 11 Operations Manager Michael Larson, and City Attorney William Soth. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 111. OPEN HEARING TO SET 1998 TAX LEVY AND ADOPT 1998 BUDGET. <br /> 14 Mayor Ranallo declared the public hearing open at 7:31 P.M. <br /> 15 IV. APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 3, 1997 TRUTH IN TAXATION PUBLIC HEARING <br /> 16 MEETING MINUTES. <br /> 17 Motion by Marks, second by:Wagner to approve the December 3, 1997 Truth in Taxation <br /> 18 Public Hearing Meeting Minutes as presented. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 0 <br /> 21 V. RESOLUTION 97-058. RE: ADOPTION OF 1998 TAX LEVY AND 1998 CITY <br /> 22 BUDGET. <br /> 23 Mayor Ranallo asked if there was any new business in regard to this issue. Nothing was <br /> 24 brought forward. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Motion by Marks, second by Wagner to approve Resolution 97-058, certifying the City of St. <br /> 27 Anthony 1998 Tax Levy in the amount of$1,756,391 and Budget in the amount of <br /> 28 $5,869,750 in compliance with the Truth in Taxation Act. <br /> 29 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 30 VI. CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING. <br /> 31 Mayor Ranallo declared the public hearing closed at 7:32 P.M. <br /> 32 VII. ADJOURNMENT. <br /> 33 Motion by Enrooth, second by Faust to adjourn the meeting at 7:33 P.M. <br /> 34 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> • <br />
