I would request <br /> that the renewal of the premise permit for St. Anthony Sports Boosters for charitable <br /> gambling by the city be put on the agenda for the city council meeting of January 13, <br /> 1998. Our permit will expire on March 31, 1998, and all paperwork must be filed with <br /> the state no later than January 31, 1998. I have enclosed for your reference a copy of the <br /> • premise renewal form and a copy of the resolution approving the old permit renewal. The <br /> permit does run for only two years. <br /> With respect to the lease, such lease is suppose to run concurrent with the length of the <br /> premise permit. I enclose for your reference a copy of the lease form. Presently, we are <br /> paying$800.00 per month in rent. We would propose that a fair adjustment would be a <br /> rental figure of$900.00 per month. The maximum rental that would be permitted under <br /> state law is $1,000.00 per month. I will contact you to insure that everything is on track <br /> and to answer any questions that you may have.
