City Council Meeting Minutes <br /> May 11, 1999 <br /> Page 10 <br /> 1 Marks stated the Council is responsible for the interests of the City and its residents. He added <br /> 2 the Salvation Army camp property represents a tremendous opportunity for the'City?s parks <br /> 3 system. He expressed his belief that the moratorium is prudent and necessary. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 Motion by Marks, second by Faust to waive the first two readings and adopt Ordinance 1999- <br /> 6 003, relating to a moratorium on changes in the use of the property known as the Salvation Army <br /> 7 Camp property, and on the issuance of any new building permits or other permits for such <br /> 8 property; amending Section 1330.01 and Section 1330.04, Subd. 1 of the St. Anthony City Code. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 D. Resolution 99-038, re: Authorize appraisal of Salvation Army Camp property. <br /> 13 Motion by Faust, second by Thuesen to approve Resolution 99-038, authorizing appraisal of the <br /> 14 Salvation Army Camp property in the City of St. Anthony. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> i <br /> 17 <br /> 18 E.
