Ms. Marks replied that students were <br /> 7 able to submit work to their art teachers and all of the work that could not be forwarded to Salo, <br /> 8 Finland will be displayed at the Community Center. <br /> 9 Mayor Cavanaugh extended congratulations to Ms. Marks for her election as President of the <br /> 10 Sister City Association and thanked her for her presentation at the Council meeting. <br /> 11 VII. GENERAL POLICY BUSINESS OF THE COUNCIL. <br /> 25 A. Consider Resolution 00-022 re: Call a Hearing on Sidewalk, Lighting, and Plantings for <br /> 26 29th Avenue NE. <br /> 27 Mayor Cavanaugh reviewed for the Council that this issue was discussed at the City Council <br /> 28 meeting on February 22, 2000 and additionally at the Council's worksession. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 City Manager Michael Morrison stated that each homeowner affected by Resolution 00-022 <br /> 31 would receive a notice and there would also be a notice in the newspaper. Additionally, <br /> 32 Morrison stated, the engineer would be present at the public hearing to answer any questions. <br /> •33 By way of background, Cavanaugh stated that one of the issues that was presented at a public <br /> 34 hearing in 1999 regarded the installation of sidewalks along 29th Avenue.
