alll X11®ri <br /> illy e <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> WHEREAS, Volunteers have enriched the life of our community through their concern, <br /> commitment and generosity of spirit; and <br /> WHEREAS, Volunteers are an essential component of that quality of life as they serve the <br /> health, education, recreation, social service, environmental and cultural needs of <br /> our community; and <br /> WHEREAS, Volunteers of all ages and from all backgrounds are stepping forward to meet and <br /> to solve the increasingly complex problems that have confronted our community; <br /> and <br /> . WHEREAS, Individuals and groups serving as volunteers have impacted our community through <br /> service to others; and <br /> WHEREAS, Recognition should be given to volunteers involved in all contributions which serve <br /> their fellow citizens and communities. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, I, Dennis Cavanaugh, Mayor of the City of St. Anthony, and on behalf of <br /> the St. Anthony City Council, do hereby proclaim the week of April 9 - 15, 2000 to be <br /> VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION WEEK <br /> in St. Anthony Village. As we continue to face the challenges and opportunities of our society, I <br /> call on all citizens of the City to sustain and increase St. Anthony's voluntary spirit now and for <br /> the future.
