We_need our help! We received thewranthe <br /> notification, and the City will need to pull together a great deal of information on the <br /> Programs, budgets and capabilities of its partners: Community Services, the school <br /> district, and Sports Boosters, before the application deadline of August 15" <br /> • The following outline describes the contents and organization of the grant application. <br /> You are invited to a meeting, on Wednesday, July 26,at 2:00 p.m., at the City offices, <br /> to begin assembling this material. Please notify Bob Kost at 373-6421 as to whether you <br /> will be able to attend. y <br /> As the City's parks consultants, we are assisting in preparation of the rant What we need from you is the following: g application. <br /> • A list of the activities and services that your organization provides <br /> • Additional activities and services you'll provide at this facility <br /> • Documentation of the number of participants, especially children in grades 4 through <br /> 8 <br /> Any evidence of need or demand for facilities (i.e. fields)and the City's inability to <br /> meet them without thisprolect. <br /> Your annual budget, if available. <br /> We recognize that volunteer groups such as Sports Boosters will have less financial <br /> budget information—we'just need the basics. . and <br /> Also from Community Services or other school district source, we need information on <br /> children within the district receiving freelreduced price lunch,if available. We also need <br /> a description of the collaborative efforts between City, school distiict, and other entities <br /> • or agencies. <br /> i <br />
